The World Prays

"The World Prays" —Rhea, 8

The rain drips into a puddle and I start to leap into the air
After it stops, all the flowers sprout
It’s springtime
I tug the weeds while the squirrels march to find acorns
The world prays
The world prays

The world prays, for the war to end
And a happy life for everyone

The world prays, for the planet to stay clean
And shine like the sun

The world prays, for the flowers to bloom
And rainbows in the sky

The world prays, for a blue sky forever
A place where dreams can fly

The world prays, for a blue sky forever
A place where dreams can fly

The world prays
